Upon arrival, your guide will take you through the King's Grand Apartment consisting of seven rooms designed for official royal functions, lavishly adorned in the style of Italian palaces of the era. These spaces were open to the public during the day and reserved for the Court three evenings a week. You will then proceed to the Hall of Mirrors, originally known as the "Great Gallery" in the 17th century, where courtiers would gather, meet, and pass through daily. The hall's defining feature is its seventeen mirrored arches, reflecting the seventeen arcaded windows overlooking the gardens. His passion for gardening and colors led him to conceive his flowers garden as a true art piece. You will begin your tour at the Vieux Bassin, one of the most charming sites in the city. The narrow houses squeezed against each other are quite a unique sight.
